We finished our fight training and became ourselves again. Once I transformed back, my shoulder started to hurt again. I chose not to struggle with the pain, so I put the immobilizer back on.

The change from ourselves to our Warriors is complicated and hard to understand, but the best way to describe it is like having your mind placed within another body. That’s why my shoulder didn’t hurt as Dragon but would hurt as myself. However, I did still feel tired from the exercises. Perhaps the tiredness was more from a mental than physical cause. “So, where are we going next?” I questioned Endokia.

“Well, since you brought along more people, we need to get more supplies. The best place for that is Belsar. But we have a little problem,” he reported, knowing I would ask what the issue was.

Me being me, of course, I had to ask, “So, what’s the little problem?”

“We don’t have any money,” he said.

Instead of a solution, I replied with a question of my own. “How did you get Kendra’s bow then?”

He looked at me with the what-should-I say look and answered, “I know a guy that owes me.”

“Well, that’s good because Darin could use a halberd, and we can get the money as well.”

“Weapons he can do, but he wouldn’t give away money to save his life. We’ll just have to get it some other way. Don’t worry, I have an idea,” he told me with a smirk.

“Oh, do tell,” I said, raising an eyebrow.

“You’ll just have to wait and see,” he said childishly and turned away to the cockpit.
